The Alpha Four features industry leading Dual-Alloy Chainring Guardsthat both protected little fingers from getting caught in the mechanics and protect the chainring from impacts.
This is where little riders command their steed. It's decked out with ultra thin grips and short reach brake levers that are optimized for small hands. The Microshift shifter is operated with two easy to operate thumb levers.
The Alpha Four features Prevelo's signature confidence inspiring geometry. Prevelo geometry utilizes a low bottom bracket that lowers the center of gravity of the bike and rider, making for a more agile and confident ride.

United StatesGot the same bike for my 7 year old as I have for my 10 year old (Alpha Four) because we love it so much. My daughter said "this bike is really good. I like this bike better than my old bike because the seat is really comfortable if you're riding a long distance. I think the size is really good and I really like the blue color because it's really shiny" (it IS an awesome blue)! Lightweight, gears are great for her and she figured them out right away and rode up a big hill... All in all an awesome purchase!

We've been riding regularly over the last few months and have built up to a couple 10+ mile rides. Components are excellent and she is riding confidently over rolling hills and on occasional gravel. United StatesI made the decision to get the alpha 3 a few years ago and never regretted it. One son is now older, the younger one inherited the alpha 3, and I had no questions about getting the alpha 4. The build quality is great, with details such as the kid-centric geometry and internal cable routing. The blue color looks fabulous. I made very few adjustments as I assembled the bike. The alpha 3 required some tweaking, but this one was great. My son was very happy on his 8th birthday. Now both boys can chase their mama while she runs. We have recommended prevelo bikes to many of our friends. Thanks for another great bike.
