The design compliments modern kids' bikes with long and low geometry and narrow Q-factor cranks. The HEIR Footport™ features new safety domed pins that are less likely to hurt shins in a scrape.
Domed pins are less likely to cause ouchies to shins and are designed to offer a balance between grip and safety. But if you are the type that prefers traditional cylindrical pins, a set of those is also included.
