What's the Difference Between the Alpha One and Alpha Two?
Alpha One: 14-inch wheels, designed for kids ages 3 to 5

Say Goodbye to Coaster Brakes
One standout feature on both bikes is that they come factory-equipped with a freewheel! No coaster brakes here. Instead, each bike includes front and rear hand brakes with kid-sized brake levers that are adjustable and easy to pull, helping kids learn proper braking techniques from the very beginning.
Convertible with Our Patented Balance-to-Pedal Tech
Our patented BALANCE-TEC system is a game-changer for young riders. It allows the bike to transform from a pedal bike to a balance (push) bike and back again. No special tools or mechanical know-how required.
With just the multi-tool that comes with the bike, you can:
- Remove the drivetrain: cranks, chain, and chain guard
- Swap in our BALANCE-TEC pegs that slide right onto the bottom bracket spindle
- Reinstall the drivetrain when your child is ready to pedal again
This modular design is perfect for gradual learners or kids who are transitioning from a balance bike but aren’t quite ready for full pedaling.
Built with Lightweight, High-Performance Materials
Like all Alpha Series bikes, the Alpha One and Two are crafted with 6061 aluminum frames and forks, along with aluminum components throughout. This construction keeps the bikes incredibly lightweight, ideal for small riders who are still building strength and coordination.

We've integrated several design elements to make sure the Alpha series fits better and lasts longer:
Thru-Tube + Frame Hugger Saddle
- The Thru-Tube system features an offset seat tube that allows for a longer seat post
- The Frame Hugger Saddle eliminates bulky seat rails, allowing the saddle to sit lower
This means:
- Lower minimum saddle height for smaller riders
- Higher maximum saddle height for extended use as your child grows

All bearings on the Alpha One and Alpha Two are sealed cartridge bearing systems.
This means:
- Smoother, more efficient rolling
- Better resistance to moisture, dirt, and rough conditions
Compact Drivetrain, Big Performance
Don’t let the compact size fool you - these bikes are tuned for performance. Both feature:
- 18T front chainring and 10T rear cog
- Gain ratio of 3.7 for the Alpha One and 3.8 for the Alpha Two: The sweet spot for 14” and 16” bikes
- Kid-appropriate crank lengths: 85mm for the Alpha One, 95mm for the Alpha Two
- Narrow Q-factor and slim pedals for ergonomic pedaling for narrower hips
