2 Day and 1 Day Shipping: "2 Day" and "1 Day" do not include weekends and holidays. Orders placed before 12 PM Pacific on business days will ship out the same day. Order placed after 12 PM Pacific on business days or on non-business days will ship out the next day. The days begin to count the first business day after the carrier takes possession. Prevelo is not responsible for carrier delays.
Example: A bike ordered 2 Day at 2 PM on Monday, will ship on Tuesday and arrive on Thursday.
These shipping rates are for new bikes only and do not apply to outlet bikes.
Parts and Accessories
Orders without a bike over $99 ship for FREE. Orders under $99 ship for a flat rate of $8.
What "2-Day" and "1-Day" Shipping Really Means
When you select an expedited shipping option at checkout, we immediately prioritize your order and ship it using premium carrier services from FedEx or UPS. These services are designed to deliver within the stated timeframe, and the vast majority of shipments arrive on time.
However, we want to be upfront with you: the delivery date shown on prevelo.co is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Why Deliveries Sometimes Arrive LateFedEx and UPS reserve the right to deliver shipments late without issuing refunds under a wide range of circumstances, including:
- Weather events — storms, hurricanes, wildfires, extreme heat or cold
- Carrier network disruptions — mechanical issues, capacity constraints, staffing shortages
- Peak shipping seasons — carriers routinely suspend their service guarantees from late November through early January
- Local delivery exceptions — no one available to receive the package, address issues, access problems
- Regulatory or customs delays — for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico
When any of these situations occur, the carriers keep the shipping fees and are not obligated to provide refunds—even for premium services.
What This Means For You- We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. We can only guarantee that we will ship your order promptly using the service level you selected.
- "2-Day Air" means 2 business days under normal conditions — it does not include weekends, holidays, or days affected by service disruptions.
- Late deliveries are uncommon but do happen. If your shipment is delayed, the carrier's tracking page will usually show the reason.
- Ship your order within the timeframe stated on our website
- Provide you with tracking information so you can monitor your shipment
- Advocate on your behalf with the carrier if a delivery is significantly delayed
- Work with you to find a solution if a late delivery causes a genuine problem
If you need your bike by a specific date—for a birthday, holiday, or trip—please order early and allow extra buffer time. We suggest ordering at least 5-7 business days ahead of your "must have" date, even when selecting expedited shipping.
We know this isn't the explaination anyone wants to hear, but we believe in being honest with you rather than making promises that depend on factors outside our control.
Processing Times
Generally orders ship same day if ordered before 12PM Pacific Time on business days. Orders placed on non-business days, or after 12PM Pacific Time on business days will ship out the next business day.
There are some exceptions that may take longer to ship:
Pre-orders: There will be a note on the product page and on your order that explains when your pre-order will ship
Options: The following options take extra prep time and may delay your shipment by one business day: HEIR Fork upgrade, dropper post upgrade.
Shipping Method
Unless otherwise noted, orders for in stock bikes placed by 12 PM Pacific Time Monday through Friday (except holidays) ship the same day. Orders placed after 12 PM Pacific Time on Friday, or on a weekend or holiday, ship the next business day. Our standard shipping methods within the 48 contiguous states are FedEx Ground and UPS Ground. Note that we may use alternative shipments outside of the 48 contiguous states or for smaller packages.
Our standard shipping methods for Flat Rate Bike Shipping for bikes within the 48 contiguous states are UPS Ground and FedEx Ground. Note that we may use alternative shipments outside of the 48 contiguous states or for smaller packages. For 2 day shipping we will choose a shipping method where the carrier quotes a delivery date that would arrive in 2 business days. For 1 day shipping we will choose a shipping method where the carrier quotes a delivery date that would arrive in 1 business day.

All bikes ship directly from our warehouse in Westlake Village, California, USA.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping options are available on the checkout page. If you would like other expedited shipping options, please call us at (805) 557-8300 or send us a message. Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable.
Alaska & Hawaii
There are no returns for bikes sent to Alaska & Hawaii. All sales are final

APO & DPO Addresses
Due to new maximum dimensions for USPS service, we can no longer ship bikes to APO & DPO addresses. We can ship parts and accessories to APO & DPO addresses. If you have a regular international address (not an APO or DPO address) where you can receive shipments, you can enter that address at checkout and we can ship there.
There are no returns for bikes sent to APO/DPO addresses. All sales are final.
PO Boxes
We generally do not ship to PO boxes that do not accept UPS and FexEx deliveries. If you need a bike shipped to a PO box, please contact us before ordering.
International Shipping (outside US)
Prevelo Bikes ships to other international destinations at discounted rates. Rates are calculated at checkout.
- All international sales are final. There are no returns for international shipments.
- In some countries you will pay duties at checkout on prevelo.com and Prevelo will pay the import duties. These countries are:
- For all other countries the destination country may bill you for duties and taxes as a condition for delivery. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure such duties and taxes are paid.
- If any international shipment is returned for any reason, including because of failure to pay duties and taxes, refusal of delivery, or inability to deliver, the full actual cost of shipping in both directions will be deducted from any refund. In addition, for countries where Prevelo paid import duties for the shipment, any duties that have been paid will not be refunded.
- Prevelo will not issue labels for return shipments that do not originate within the 48 contiguous states of the USA. If a sale is shipped within the 48 contiguous states of the USA and then moved outside the region (for example, by a freight forwarder), the bike can only be return if either (1) the buyer ships it back on their account or (2) the bike can be returned from an address within the 48 contiguous states of the USA.
