Perfect size!

This bike has been amazing for my 3.5 year old. I ended up purchasing the Alpha One originally, but opted for the bigger Alpha Two instead. My son asks to ride his bike everyday! He is on the smaller side with a 16.5” inseam but with the short post has no problem getting his leg over. We have had it since Christmas and have since raised the seat so he’s more on his tiptoes. He caught on to the hand brakes within a day of riding! Now I have to get one for my 7 year old too. He begs his little brother to ride it everyday!

Amazing, well-made bike! (Wish they were this good when I was a kid!)

I bought this for my 3.5-year-old for Christmas, as he'd outgrown his 12" wheel bike, and he absolutely loves it. It's perfect for all styles of riding, but we especially love taking it on trails, obstacle courses, you name it. The geometry is solid and stable. The gearing lets him go faster, but he can still crank up hills. Once he got used to the brakes (he'd had a coaster previously), he was dropping in on steep creek crossings, zipping around berms. The chainring guard is a brilliant detail. Components are all good quality. Would like an easier tire upgrade option, but what comes on it are totally fine. I was a little worried at first that it would be too big, but with the bonus short seat post, it fits him really well. He'll be riding it for at least two years. What a great bike. Would recommend for anyone whose kid likes to ride on dirt as well as around the neighborhood.

We went astray and just had to come back

This is our second Prevelo. Our daughter started on the Alpha One when she was two. When it was time for an upgrade, due to scarcity of bikes because of covid, we ordered a different brand. Big mistake. We returned the other bike and bought the Alpha Two. Nothing compares to the quality of product and customer care with Prevelo.

We Love our Prevelo Alpha Two

This bike is awesome, I love it and most importantly my daughter loves it. We ride every day and her progression on this bike has been incredible. It's fits perfectly, it's light and came out of the box with very little assembly left to complete. I have been in the bike industry for the past 20 years on the shop side, manufacturing side along with youth coaching and guiding and after researching all of the options this is the bike to get. Prevelo does a fantastic job and you get a lot of bang for your buck. A nicer kids bike makes a HUGE difference. Thank you again to Jacob, his family and the rest of the Prevelo Team, you guys are awesome!

An Exquisite Riding Machine

This bike has changed my son’s life, especially during this trying time. This bicycle is exceptionally well made, beautifully engineered, and real real easy on the eyes. Its gorgeous: clean lines and good proportions. It doesn’t aesthetically talk down to kids. From the gear ratio, to the weighting, to the curves, it’s clear that thoughtful people have constructed an exquisite machine. My son not only adores the bike itself but also the sense of freedom and confidence he has riding it all over city streets, dirt tracks, and soon down the side of a mountain (or so he tells me). Thank you for building machines that bring children joy and parents pride.
