    Best little kid bike ever!

My 4 year old went from a strider sport balance bike straight to the Alpha 2 with very small learning curve. He figured out how to use the pedals within his first couple times on it and is just working on the transition from feet as brakes on the strider to hand breaks. The bike is nice and light so it’s easy for him to maneuver and get on it himself. He loves his new big boy bike and hasn’t left it alone since we opened it for his birthday! Bike came almost fully assembled with only the pedals to screw on and the handlebar to fasten. I know they are pricey, but I’d definitely recommend the prevelo alpha bikes for the next bike after a strider!

    Kid centered, quality build

We love our Alpha 2. It was purchased for our daughters 4th birthday. She is an experience balance bike rider, and was able to ride this bike on her own the day after opening the box. She loves it and rides every day. As a bike rider, I love the kid centered design and the quality components. From the easy pull hand brakes (no coaster brake), the low stand over hieght, comfortable seat position, the kid-sized crank, proper wheels tires and hubs, all make huge difference. There is not a single cheap piece of plastic on this bike. I bought this after watching her ride a hand-me-down huffy with training wheels - she fits on the bike but cant touch the ground, gets mixed up by the coaster brake, and relies heavily on the training wheels which means she cant turn without tipping over. This was a game chagner and my 4 yr old was zooming around the neighborhood right out of the box! Even better, she is super excited to ride her bike every day.

Super happy with the Alpha Two

Really happy with the shipping process and build quality of the Alpha Two. Our son was on a 14" wheel bike previously, and this fits him way better, and he got used to the bike right away. Would definitely recommend this bike to friends.

    Perfect size!

This bike has been amazing for my 3.5 year old. I ended up purchasing the Alpha One originally, but opted for the bigger Alpha Two instead. My son asks to ride his bike everyday! He is on the smaller side with a 16.5” inseam but with the short post has no problem getting his leg over. We have had it since Christmas and have since raised the seat so he’s more on his tiptoes. He caught on to the hand brakes within a day of riding! Now I have to get one for my 7 year old too. He begs his little brother to ride it everyday!

Amazing, well-made bike! (Wish they were this good when I was a kid!)

I bought this for my 3.5-year-old for Christmas, as he'd outgrown his 12" wheel bike, and he absolutely loves it. It's perfect for all styles of riding, but we especially love taking it on trails, obstacle courses, you name it. The geometry is solid and stable. The gearing lets him go faster, but he can still crank up hills. Once he got used to the brakes (he'd had a coaster previously), he was dropping in on steep creek crossings, zipping around berms. The chainring guard is a brilliant detail. Components are all good quality. Would like an easier tire upgrade option, but what comes on it are totally fine. I was a little worried at first that it would be too big, but with the bonus short seat post, it fits him really well. He'll be riding it for at least two years. What a great bike. Would recommend for anyone whose kid likes to ride on dirt as well as around the neighborhood.
