Pre-Order Dates

We do not open pre-orders for a shipment until we have a good amount of confidence in the ship date.  That being said, the estimated delivery dates listed on our website are based on the best information that we have at the moment.  While we cannot control every variable, we pledge to be honest and transparent about lead times.

- The ship dates that are on the website represent our honest estimate of the date that the bikes will ship on.

- Where information is imprecise (for example, referencing a month or quarter), it is because there are unpredictable factors that make it so we cannot credibly be more precise.

- We will work tirelessly to keep the bikes on schedule. It's part of our company culture to be very involved in our supply chain and to be proactive about addressing issues that could turn into delays.

- If something happens that changes the ship date we will communicate quickly and clearly about the delay.

- You can cancel your pre-order any time before your bike ships.


Pre-date changes

Your pre-order date will be included in your order confirmation. If we learn something that changes that date, we will contact you. You might see the pre-order date change on the website. There are a variety of things that could cause a change in the pre-order date including shipping delays, back logs, or moving through different batches. Just because the date on the website changes, does not mean that the date of a pre-order already placed has changed.  Again, if you place a pre-order and the estimated delivery date changes, we will inform you.


Pre-order payment policy

Your credit card will be charged immediately when you place your pre-order.  Your pre-order is cancelable and fully refundable. If you need to cancel a pre-order contact us and we'll take care of it!

The Alpha is made to take on paved path adventures and mellow dirt paths.
  1. Prevelo confidence inspiring low and narrow geometry. Prevelo geometry keeps the rider low, balanced and in control.
  2. Lightweight 6061 aluminum frame with custom formed tubing.
  3. Lightweight aluminum alloy fork with alloy steerer.
  4. Front and rear v-brakes.
  5. Lightweight Allen head front and rear wheel skewers for secure wheel installation.
  6. Three piece crank with squared taper cartridge bearing bottom bracket and ultra narrow Q factor.
  7. Custom made cranks. All Prevelo cranks are sized specifically for each model bike, down to the millimeter.
  8. NEW Microshift 8-speed drivetrain with wide-span 11-38T gearing. Uses a shorter pulley cage without comprising gear ratio width. Because kids’ bikes have small wheel diameters, rear derailleurs on kids bikes hang low and close to the ground. The Prevelo Alpha bikes use smaller cage derailleurs to keep things high and away from the ground.
  9. Microshift Trigger Shifters. Small hands have a hard time using twist shifters. We use reliable silky smooth thumb shifters. They are easy for small hands to operate, and operate just like shifters on high performance bikes.
  10. 95% assembled. Just install the handlebar, seatpost, front wheel and pedals.
