Pre-Order Dates

We do not open pre-orders for a shipment until we have a good amount of confidence in the ship date.  That being said, the estimated delivery dates listed on our website are based on the best information that we have at the moment.  While we cannot control every variable, we pledge to be honest and transparent about lead times.

- The ship dates that are on the website represent our honest estimate of the date that the bikes will ship on.

- Where information is imprecise (for example, referencing a month or quarter), it is because there are unpredictable factors that make it so we cannot credibly be more precise.

- We will work tirelessly to keep the bikes on schedule. It's part of our company culture to be very involved in our supply chain and to be proactive about addressing issues that could turn into delays.

- If something happens that changes the ship date we will communicate quickly and clearly about the delay.

- You can cancel your pre-order any time before your bike ships.


Pre-date changes

Your pre-order date will be included in your order confirmation. If we learn something that changes that date, we will contact you. You might see the pre-order date change on the website. There are a variety of things that could cause a change in the pre-order date including shipping delays, back logs, or moving through different batches. Just because the date on the website changes, does not mean that the date of a pre-order already placed has changed.  Again, if you place a pre-order and the estimated delivery date changes, we will inform you.


Pre-order payment policy

Your credit card will be charged immediately when you place your pre-order.  Your pre-order is cancelable and fully refundable. If you need to cancel a pre-order contact us and we'll take care of it!

The Alpha One is the smallest pedal bike in the Prevelo lineup—purpose-built to help young riders transition confidently to pedaling. Its new compact drivetrain and low-slung aluminum frame make it easy to start, stop, and maneuver.

It features front and rear V-brakes, a narrow Q-factor crank, and a rear wheel with a freewheel. With the BALANCE-TEC™ kit, it can convert to a balance bike, extending its usefulness for new or hesitant riders.

Included short and long seat posts extend the saddle height range and allow the bike to adapt as your child grows.

High Performance Kid Optimized Drivetrain

Features a short, narrow HEIR™ crankset for an efficient fit and kid-friendly pedaling. The ultra-compact drivetrain pairs an 18T chainring with a 10T cog for low weight, high clearance, and sharp response. A custom chainguard mounts via ISCG-style tabs for durable, low-profile protection. Built for real riding, with simplicity and safety in mind.

Precision Dropouts

Adjustable rear dropouts lock in both chainstay length and chain tension for consistent drivetrain geometry. They also simplify tire changes by maintaining consistent chain tension when the rear wheel is removed, reducing the need for realignment or readjustments.

Integrated Handlebar and Stem

A one-piece handlebar and stem combo that keeps weight low and design clean. It’s shaped specifically for young riders, with a slim 19 mm diameter grip and short reach for easy control. All bolts are recessed, and the stem has a rounded profile, so there are no sharp edges or exposed hardware for knees to catch on. Thoughtfully engineered for both comfort and safety.

Rider Supply Pod Ready

The Alpha One features built-in top tube mounting points for securely attaching the Rider Supply Pod. This convenient location keeps essentials like snacks or tools within easy reach for young riders. The mounts provide a clean, strap-free setup that keeps the bag stable and out of the way. Installation requires standard hex bolts for a solid, rattle-free fit. It's a thoughtful detail designed for real-world adventures.

THRU-TUBE™ Frame

The unique THRU-TUBE™ is designed to keep riders low, confident and agile. It unlocks class-leading low seat height and seat height range, and improves pedaling ergonomics while keeping the rider's feet close to the ground.

Balance-Tec™

Features the patent-pending BALANCE-TEC™ system, the first-ever balance-bike-to-pedal-bike conversion that doesn't compromise pedaling performance. The system's innovations include a self-extracting crank, protective bottom bracket shields that serve as footrests in balance bike mode, and an integrated chainstay key that enables chain removal and installation without breaking the chain. This proprietary design allows the bikes to be converted between pedal and balance modes in minutes without special tools while maintaining consistent handling characteristics in both configurations.
