Pre-Order Dates

We do not open pre-orders for a shipment until we have a good amount of confidence in the ship date.  That being said, the estimated delivery dates listed on our website are based on the best information that we have at the moment.  While we cannot control every variable, we pledge to be honest and transparent about lead times.

- The ship dates that are on the website represent our honest estimate of the date that the bikes will ship on.

- Where information is imprecise (for example, referencing a month or quarter), it is because there are unpredictable factors that make it so we cannot credibly be more precise.

- We will work tirelessly to keep the bikes on schedule. It's part of our company culture to be very involved in our supply chain and to be proactive about addressing issues that could turn into delays.

- If something happens that changes the ship date we will communicate quickly and clearly about the delay.

- You can cancel your pre-order any time before your bike ships.


Pre-date changes

Your pre-order date will be included in your order confirmation. If we learn something that changes that date, we will contact you. You might see the pre-order date change on the website. There are a variety of things that could cause a change in the pre-order date including shipping delays, back logs, or moving through different batches. Just because the date on the website changes, does not mean that the date of a pre-order already placed has changed.  Again, if you place a pre-order and the estimated delivery date changes, we will inform you.

Your credit card will be charged immediately when you place your pre-order.  Your pre-order is cancelable and fully refundable. If you need to cancel a pre-order contact us and we'll take care of it!

Microshift Advent Super Short Drivetrain

The Zulu Three features the new Microshift Advent Super Short derailleur. The super short cage provides ample ground clearance for small wheels, while simultaneously providing best in class gear range. The clutch helps minimize chain drop while still providing crisp, accurate shifts. UDH compatible frame works with a wide range of current and future drivetrains.

Confidence Inspiring Trail Geometry

The Zulu Three features Prevelo's signature confidence inspiring geometry. Prevelo geometry utilizes a low bottom bracket that lowers the center of gravity of the bike and rider, making for a more agile and confident ride. The slack front end makes the bike forgiving to young trail riders experimenting with tough terrain.

Kid Optimized Crank

Prevelo crank lengths are custom sized for each size bike to make sure little riders have optimum pedal ergonomics. And they have ultra-narrow Q-factors to match the narrow hips of young cyclists. If that sounds like technical mumbo jumbo, here's the point - Prevelo cranks will help make small riders more comfortable and efficient on their bike.

The Pivotal system lowers the stack height of the seat, resulting in a 30mm lower seat. This helps get small riders on big wheels. This system also helps reduce weight and increase durability.

Lightweight Tubeless Ready Heir Wheels

Wrapped with Kenda Booster Pro tires, the HEIR wheels can be easily set up tubeless so you can reduce flats, improve traction, and shave another ~200 grams from the bike's weight. The sealed cartridge thru-axle hubs make these wheels some of the fastest and most reliable wheels found on any bike. The quick-engagement rear hub sounds awesome and helps riders navigate tricky terrain.

What the Press Says about the Zulu Three

Jumping on the Prevelo was a noticeable change in how he rode. I immediately noticed his feet were on the pedals correctly. Stopping wasn’t such a chore as he could reach the levers without removing all four fingers from the bars. Shifting was easier, too. The grip shift on his old bike had him moving his hand so much that he had to take his concentration from the trail and focus it on the shifting task. Plus, the grip itself was coming off the bars the more and more he shifted. With a standard thumb shifter, shifting wasn’t only easier, he learned to do it without looking.
